I am IN LOVE with this reserve starbucks. I have never been to one with the fancy cups and the fancy bar and the fancy EVERYTHING. I wish they had a fancy reserve in downtown cleveland. S/O STARBUCKS. Aha!
Anyways, we arrived an hour before close and it was still alittle busy. Nothing crazy though.
High ceilings and wood countertops, and a TON of merch and bags of coffee. Even the windows were from the floor to the ceiling, huge with grey curtains as well. HOW CUTE. It really flows together in here.
There were two empty seats at the bar, don't mind iffff I doo! -

Stumbled upon this rare Starbucks Reserve. Large, open area with lots of windows made for such a refreshing ambiance that I could have sat here all day.

Ok I let a year go by after the three previous experiences and returned this week to try the "Reserve Bar" experience. (This is the only one in the Detroit area I believe)
It's still not entirely clear how it works... you are supposed to order from the Reserve menu if you're sitting at the Reserve Bar.. of you want your regular latte, you get in line like all the other Starbucks. But almost every seat at the Reserve Bar was taken by students with laptops who were drinking out of the regular coffee to-go cups...
So that's benefit number one though: very cool to-go plastic cup and lid with my cherry nitro brew! See pic below... very very good drink and my new fave so I will be back. (No options..not sold anywhere else, lol). And it was only $5 which is what I spend on anything from the regular menu and this came with sit-down barista service... so it's actually a better deal. (Yes I left s sit-down barista tip... not just a buck in the cup like up front) -

It's hard for me to give "the man" 5 stars but it is earned. The reserve is a step up from ordinary Starbucks. It's a clean, sexy and sleek space. Great Tinder date place. You feel like you are at a bar but you aren't. I'm a fan of a clover cup of jo. It's strong and special so is the Reserve.

The Reserve gets 5 stars simply for the fact that they have Nitro Cold Brew which is still somewhat tough to find in my area of Michigan. I have been to the Reserve Roastery in Seattle and raved about that experience. This place was much of the same. A lot of unique drinks and sitting areas with a great ambience to the place.
If you have not tried a Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew - you are missing out. Nitrogen infused cold brew that fountains like a stout beer. All of the creamy texture and flavor that gets pulled out is second to none in mouth feel. A new way to coffee! Give it a try at the Reserve. Great neighborhood and environment for your new favorite way to enjoy your cold brew.
